When you need a fan
Tangential 24 V fans push air through the heat exchanger. At the same length the unit puts out 1.5 to 3 times more heat than a natural-convection model.
This is the answer for floor-to-ceiling glazing, where the trench is not long enough to reach the output you need by natural convection alone. Fan speed is adjustable, and the catalogue shows output at three speeds. Power comes from a 24 V supply, a safe low voltage.
